Background
Hi, I’m Gareth – and I’m really glad you’ve found your way here. Therapy with me is a space where the whole of you is welcome. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, grieving, questioning things, or simply in need of support, I aim to offer a warm, grounded, and respectful environment where you can feel safe and truly heard.
As a queer therapist, inclusion and affirmation are central to my practice. But more than that, I believe therapy is for everyone. People come with all kinds of experiences, and no two stories are alike. My role is to walk alongside you—without judgement, without pressure—so we can explore what matters to you, at your pace, and in your way.
This isn’t about quick fixes. It’s about connection, reflection, and real conversations. I’m here to offer presence, compassion, and curiosity as you navigate whatever life brings.
My Approach
My work is human-first and shaped by the values of empathy, authenticity, and deep listening. I practise from an integrative foundation, blending person-centred and pluralistic approaches with behavioural tools and creative elements—always adapting to your unique needs.
I believe therapy works best when it’s a collaborative and respectful partnership. Whether you bring joy, pain, humour, doubt, or anything in between, nothing is too much—and nothing needs to be ‘fixed’ to be worthy of care.
While I offer a space that is explicitly inclusive and affirming of LGBTQ+ identities, I work with people from all backgrounds, and I honour the uniqueness of every person's experience. Whatever brings you to therapy, my commitment is to meet you with warmth, openness, and integrity.
